1890 Indian Head Penny - No liberty on Headband Good condition
A 1890 Indian Head penny in good condition with no visible Liberty on the headband. This coin was minted in Philadelphia, so it does not have a mintmark. The Indian Head penny, designed by James B. Longacre, was minted from 1859 to 1909 and features an image of Lady Liberty wearing a feather headdress on the obverse side. The reverse side has a wreath and the words "one cent" surrounded by a shield. The lack of visible Liberty on the front could be due to wear or a weak strike during the minting process.
